Osteopathic manipulation evidences an almost identical response rate as the upper bound of multiple impulse treatment but would be judged to be less effective because approximately 90% of the patients treated with osteopathic manipulation responded “in the long run” whereas 100% of the patients treated with multiple impulse therapy responded to the therapy.
